Necessity is the mother of invention, so the saying goes. When faced with limitations: innovation is the key to creating solutions that over come obstacles. Being nimble, innovative, and more relevant by necessity–infused with a fresh-rebellious spirit, is the guiding force (Cipher) in our daily grind.
Competing with the big boys used to be a daunting task. In the global economy it feels like bringing a pen-knife to a gun fight. But when taking on the empire, young skywalker, it’s always best to take on the biggest guy in the galaxy. Just think; little David is still getting hype from knockin’ out Goliath.
Gas prices hit $4 dollars a gallon today in America; the largest spike in history. Politicians are talking about gas tax holidays, winfall taxes to big oil companies, and a change in energy policies to secure energy independence. It’s about time!
On behalf of Hong Kong, the crossroad of the future’s great promise, a true world city, let me express humility, and deepest gratitude, for the privilege of speaking to our global village.
